Superhydration: An important element of fat loss

Superhydration is nothing but consuming 3.75 Litres (1 gallon) of ice cold water on a daily basis which is super useful for fat loss & body building. I have got amazing results with my clients who are looking to shed excess fat from their body. The following are the benefits of consuming ice cold water:

  1. Increases the liver’s ability to use/convert fat stored in the body into energy.
  2. Hydrates the skin with smoother & joyful & youthful complexion.
  3. Controls your appetite by making your digestive organs feel full.
  4. Relieves constipation by making the food move through intestines.
  5. Helps warm the cold fluid to match the body temperature & get it released through urine. Around 4 litres of ice cold water burns approx 142 calories of heat.
  6. It really helps in muscle building since around 70%of our body is made up of water.

How do you consume water & in how much quantity?

When & How: Ideally, you should not gallop entire 128 ounce of water. You need to structure it during the day. First is buy 32 ounce of water with a straw & make sure you consume it by sipping. You should target to consume 50% before noon & rest on or before 6 pm. This ensures that you do not need to visit to the washroom during night.

Where: You sip water everywhere where you go during the day since you know your plan for the entire day

There is a huge contrast between plain water & beverages. Drinks such as soft drinks, tea, juices, alcohol contains sugar, caffeine & flavors. Sugar & flavors add up calories while caffeine containing beverages dehydrate the body. Try to keep consumption of such beverages to a minimum. However, you may add a flavor of lemon to water. 

Water drinking is difficult at first since it involved a lot of restroom breaks. On an average consuming 128 ounces of water means 13 to 14 restroom visits. However it makes you body clean & healthy. It may take time of around 7 to 10 days to adjust your body. However, once adopted, it helps you burn calories, curb hunger, hydrate skin & flush & clean your entire system.
